PublicationCurrent Path to Community Based Sustainable MS: Tourism Development of Khanh Hoa Province in Vietnam( 2021)Trần Thị Thùy TrangThe article analyzes the current situation of Khanh Hoa province (Vietnam) tourism in terms of sustainable development in the period 2010-2019. This is the result of the research project "Model of sustainable tourism development with community participation in Khanh Hoa province" from September 2019 to November 2020 by Pham Bich Ngoc. The study used PESTEL method and surveyed tourists to Khanh Hoa province with 726 samples. The research results show that Khanh Hoa province tourism develops very quickly but is not really sustainable. There are still many problems that need to be adjusted, especially when it is strongly affected by the external environment. Besides, the article also gives some policy implications to help Khanh Hoa province develop sustainable tourism in the future

PublicationDevelopment of Tourism in South Central MS; Coastal provinces of Vietnam( 2021)Trần Thị Thùy TrangAmongst all tourism destinations, South Central Coastal provinces are the most eminent ones as they play a significant role in the sectorial, local and national socio-economic development in Vietnam. Amongst those provinces, Binh Thuan province is always in the spotlight as an object of interest of many tourists, tourism companies and reseachers. In this article, we present the so far comprehensive process of tourism development of this specific tourism region. Reviewing the latest literature on the topic and subject of research, we identify diverse factors and carry out analysis on how they impact the tourism development of this province. Based on the presented potentials and panorama picture of Binh Thuan province tourism industry and based on the obtained research results in this paper, we deliver several solutions boosting its future development in the next 5-year period

PublicationFactor Affecting Tourists' Return Intention: A Case of Binh Quoi Village in Ho Chi Minh city( 2021)Trần Thị Thùy TrangThe aim of this study is to identify factors affecting intention to return to Binh Quoi Village, a tourist destination in Ho Chi Minh City. The selected sample size is 300 domestic tourists who have been traveling to Binh Quoi. Qualitative and quantitative research methods with group discussion, Cronbach's Alpha test, exploratory factor analysis and multivariate linear regression were used in this study. Research results show that there are six factors (natural and cultural environment; reasonable price; infrastructure; accessibility to tourism products and services; local cuisine; entertainment services) that affect the tourists’ intention to return to Binh Quoi. Based on the research results, the article proposes managerial implications to improve the ability to attract domestic tourists back to Binh Quoi in the future.

PublicationSubjective Well Being in Tourism Research( 2021)Trần Thị Thùy TrangThe “Economics of happiness” is increasingly an interest topic and subject of concern in the modern society, both in theories and practices of contemporary economics and management science. Especially, when it comes to the issue of subjective well-being, the evidence is reflected in growing number of articles published in the mainstream and reputable journals. The study in this paper uses qualitative research through the synthesis and evaluation of published articles on the issue of subjective well-being in the field of tourism to provide guidance and orientation for future research. Specifically, we focus our evaluation on the three main areas strictly related to subjective well-being: theoretical framework of subjective well-being; factors affecting subjective well-being; finally, limitations of current research to discover new directions for further research.
