PublicationEnabling D2D Transmission Mode in Cellular Networks: Instantaneous Rate Consideration( 2017)
;Huu Phuc Dang ;Hong Nhu Nguyen ;Thanh Duc Le ;Si Phu Le ;Dinh Thuan Do ;Jaroslav ZdralekMiroslav VoznakThe concept of full duplex (FD)-assisted relay has been introduced to support the relaying transmission using device-to-device (D2D) communications for enhancing communication reliability. Motivated by the recent advance in heterogeneous network using relaying techniques, we consider the D2D communication provided by dedicated FD relay where forward signal from a base station (BS) to the conventional cellular user and D2D user. We mainly derive the instantaneous rate by taking into account the SNR and power allocation parameters, and propose the transmission mode for D2D link. After deriving the rate of the D2D link, we explore the effects of the network parameters on the instantaneous rate. -
PublicationPerformance Analysis Of Wireless Powered Cognitive Radio Networks( 2017)
;Thanh Duc Le ;Hong Nhu Nguyen ;Si Phu Le ;Jaroslav ZdralekMiroslav VoznakIn this paper, we design a energy harvesting-assisted relay which collects energy from signals radiated by PU (primary user) transmitters, then SU (secondary user) transmitters can be used to forward signal to PU receivers. In this model, transmit power of PU transmitters are divided into two equal part for primary network and secondary network in cognitive radio. This paper will discuss how to evaluate system performance under impacts of energy harvesting coefficients through the outage performance. Such analytical expression can be verified through Monte-Carlo simulation to confirm advantage of the proposed model. -
PublicationEffectiveness of Marketing public relation: Evidences from Vietnam( 2017)Nguyễn Hoàng MaiThe effect of marketing public relations (MPR) on human interactions such as their changing attitudes is difficult to quantify. Academics and industry professionals are both struggling with this challenge. This research laid foundations by using SERVQUAL framework to measure the effectiveness of MPR on attitude toward brand (ATB) to identify insights that can inform strategy in practice. A survey was accompanied with 317 respondents in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to collect primary data. Constructing on the multiple regression analysis, it was concluded that MPR has positive relationship with ATB; also tangibles dimension of SERVQUAL. Furthermore, MPR indirectly affects ATB through tangibles. Hence, managers are highly recommended to make the MPR programs more tangibility in order to gain positive ATB.

PublicationPower Beacon-Assisted Relaying Scheme for Cellular Networks: System Model and Performance Analysis( 2017)
;Si Phu Le ;Hong Nhu Nguyen ;Thanh Duc Le ;Huu Phuc Dang ;Dinh Thuan Do ;Jaroslav ZdralekMiroslav VoznakIn this paper, we consider one-way relay with energy harvesting system based on power beacon (PB), in which the relay node harvests transmitted power from the PB station to forward signals to destination. We also analyse the relay network model with amplify-and-forward (AF) protocol for information cooperation and Power Splitting-based Relaying (PSR) protocol for power transfer. In particular, the outage probability and optimal energy harvesting (EH) power splitting fraction of novel scheme in are presented. We obtain analytical closed-form expression of optimal energy harvesting (EH) power splitting fraction to minimize the outage probability of system. Using numerical and analytical simulations, the performances of different cases are presented and discussed. -

PublicationApplying the Balanced Scorecard in the performance management of Vietnamese universities( 2017)
;Nguyễn Cửu Đỉnh ;Nguyễn Thị Bích VânNguyễn Mạnh Hoài VũIn the recent 5 years, the Vietnamese government has been making efforts to change its education system, most particularly the development of an effective university management model. Among the various policies conducted, the empowerment to financial autonomy of the universities has become one of the most encouraged and thoroughly executed. Based on that notion, managing universities' financial aspect is now widely considered the core to a university's successes. Nevertheless, currently universities in Vietnam has been using dated indicators, reluctant to apply modern management methods. Within the diverse tools for strategic level management, the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework is widely used due to its ability to translate an organisation's strategy into targets and executive action; along with popularising its goalswith the institution's staff and subdivision. The scope of this paper was to research different approaches to improving the financial management aspect ofuniversities in Vietnam, specifically in the sector of Vietnamese Financial Autonomous Universities (VFAUS). The objective of this paper was to proposea BSC-based framework for the performance evaluation of the Vietnamese financial autonomous universities, with a focus on the financial aspect based on Kaplan's original model along with the other models adapted by various authors for universities across the world. This researchreviews previous research related to the BSC, while concurrently observing and analysing the individual states of VFAUS. The result is a framework consisting of the objectives, measures, targets and initiatives for an organisation's efficiency evaluation. The aim of the framework is to help VFAUS accomplish their financial goals and to improve their financial management performance -
PublicationResilience of Stock Cross Correlation Network to Random Breakdown and Intentional Attack( 2017)
;Ngoc Kim Khanh NguyenQuang NguyenWe study the network constructed by the correlation coefficients between stocks which are listed in the Vietnamese stock exchanges. Network edges between nodes (stocks) are established if the correlations between stocks are higher than certain value (0.25). We found that this network is scale-free, having connectivity distribution P(k)∼k−γ (where k is the node connectivity) with a relatively low power exponent of γ∼1.0. This result accords with the highly co-movement of listed stocks in a market found previously. The low power-law distribution exponent coefficient corresponding to a dense connectivity makes it robust even under intentional attacks: its critical fraction is of range 30.77%−50.36%. Finally, we compare different intentional attack strategies and find that: if we want to fully break apart the network, recalculated degree distribution-based attack is the most efficient; if we only want to break the network to a certain level (for example, to break half of the size of the largest network component), the recalculated betweenness centrality-based attack is more efficient. This result may be used to enhance the structure design of some real-life network systems. -
PublicationPerformance Analysis of Device-To-Device Communication Using AF Relaying Under Impact of Co-channel Interferences( 2017)
;Nguyen Thai Anh ;Huu Phuc Dang ;Hong Nhu Nguyen ;Thanh Duc Le ;Si Phu Le ;Dinh Thuan Do ;Jaroslav ZdralekMiroslav VoznakThis paper analyzes the effect of co-channel interference on device-to-device (D2D) communication using amplified-and-forward technique. This paper considered the outage probability of D2D communication using two-way amplify-and-forward relaying protocol over Rayleigh fading channels. For this purpose, this paper presents closed expressions for the cumulative distribution function (CDF) of the signal-to-noise ratio plus the co-channel noise (SINR), throughput of such network under impact of the co-channel interference. The results of this analysis will be verified by the Monte-Carlo simulation method and simulated on Matlab. -
PublicationOn the Outage Probability of Device to Device Communication Enabled NOMA( 2017)
;Hong Nhu Nguyen ;Huu Phuc Dang ;Thanh Duc Le ;Si Phu Le ;Dinh Thuan Do ;Jaroslav ZdralekMiroslav VoznakIn this paper, the outage possibility of device-to-device (D2D)-communication with non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) enabled cellular networks from a common threshold-based perspective is studied. Particularly, this work propose NOMA signal processing scheme of D2D transmission mode with or without help of the base station help a portable user equipment (UE) forwarding superimposed signals in relay and direct mode. A united framework is supplied to inspect the link outage possibility in each pair of D2D users over Rayleigh fading channel.
