| dc.description.abstract | Students’ learning is influenced by students’ engagement in classroom activities. However, in the context of English teaching and learning at Van Lang University, it is difficult to get students involved in traditional classroom activities. Technology blooming in every aspect of life led the researchers to the idea of using Quizizz to make students more motivated and engaged in English classrooms. This paper aimed to investigate students' perceptions towards the implementation of Quizizz live games on mobile phones in English lessons and the effects of such games on learners' engagement. The data were collected from 90 non-English majored students. There were two methods employed in the study. The interviews were conducted on 30 participants, and the questionnaire was delivered to 90 participants. Students expressed positive attitudes towards Quizizz games in the classroom and confirmed that Quizizz live games are an effective, interesting, and useful tool to improve learners’ engagement. | |
