dc.description.abstract The architectural style and decorative art of traditional Nam Bo houses has been an attractive area of study for decorative arts specialists and artisans in Vietnam. In general, some styles and decorative features are quite similar to the Ruong houses of Hue, especially in the interior layout - reflects different beliefs about the organization of space. From an artistic point of view, the article explores in-depth the artistic features of decorating typical classical houses in the South. The houses affected by the latest mixed style between French colony and the Nguyễn Dynasty. The diverse artistic value wrung creates unique culture of the ancient Southern region
