Proposals on technologies and contents to digitize the art of the Trống quân response singing in Hưng Yên province, Vietnam

Abstract

Trống quân singing is an important heritage of the Viet people in the northern delta region; the most unique one is Trống quân singing in Hưng Yên province. In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), the application of high technology to the conservation of the intangible cultural heritage in general and Trống quân singing in particular is a strategy that needs to be implemented. Identifying the importance of technology, especially 3D, 360-degree camera, Slow motion video technologies and many other new technologies in preserving and developing traditional arts to make a breakthrough, and at the same time associated with the development process of local community tourism, socio-economic development, this paper will focus on: firstly, presenting directly the issue of digitizing the artistic heritage of Viet people’s Trống quân singing in Dạ Trạch commune, Khoái Châu district, Hưng Yên province; and secondly, proposing technologies and contents to digitize the art of Trống quân singing in this local
